Not so much snow for tomorrow

Yesterday I said to expect 1-2 inches of snow on Tuesday, but today it appears that we won’t even get that much.  I would expect an inch or less as the surface low weakens the closer it gets to our area.  An inch of snow would probably be on the higher end in isolated locations.

The next chance for snow looks to be this upcoming Friday/Saturday.  As of now it looks that the main area of precipitation will stay to our south, but a few of the models show extreme southern Michigan getting clipped with accumulating snow.   This is still several days away so there are a lot of unknowns, but it is possible that Michigan could get snow from this storm.  I will post an update tomorrow or Wednesday after a few more model runs give a little more information.  Considering this is during Christmas Eve and Christmas day, this could be a problem for people traveling for the holidays.
